Quincy Medical Group
Bridge the Gap to Health Race

Join us for the 24th annual Quincy Medical Group Bridge the Gap to Health Race, an event that has become a cherished tradition in our community! This year’s race will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2024.

The Bridge the Gap to Health Race is not just a race; it is a unifying effort that brings together individuals, families, and businesses for the greater good of our community. Over the years, our event has served as a platform to promote personal health, foster connections among friends and family, and, most importantly, address pressing needs within our community.

The mission of the Bridge the Gap to Heath Race is to help ‘bridge the gap’ of a need in our community. The YWCA Supportive Housing Program is pivotal in assisting a vulnerable population in need of shelter. By providing financial support to the YWCA Supportive Housing Program, we aim to move individuals and families off the streets and into an educational program that imparts valuable life skills. This hands-on approach goes beyond providing shelter; it offers guidance and support from dedicated case managers who help individuals meet critical goals, such as achieving financial independence, strengthening family bonds, and making informed decisions for their future.

We invite you to register you and your family today! Enjoy the 5K walk/run, 10K, Half Marathon, or the Paul Arndt Kids Fun Run!

Please join us in-person or virtually to support the YWCA Supportive Housing Program and help local women and children get back on their feet. This year, in addition to raising funds for the Supportive Housing Program, race organizers are asking participants to bring a canned food item at packet pick-up which will then distributed to local food pantries in our area.
