The Bridge the Gap Mission

“To Sustain or Enhance the Quality of Life of our Community”

Quincy Medical Group’s Bridge the Gap to Health Race has always been more than a race—it’s a way to bring people together for the greater good of the community. Whether it’s to focus on personal health, come together with friends and family to run across the Quincy bridges, or to participate in a cause bigger than oneself, the race has become a community tradition. No matter the reason, the race’s mission is to help ‘bridge the gap’ of a need in our community.

How does the YWCA Supportive Housing Program Work?

Bridge The Gap benefits the YWCA Supportive Housing Program, aiding a vulnerable population in need of shelter. By financially supporting the YWCA Supportive Housing Program, we can move individuals and families off the streets and into an educational program that teaches valuable life skills. With a hands-on approach, the program offers more than just a place to stay. Case managers provide the guidance and support necessary to help those in need meet goals, such as gaining financial independence and stability, strengthening family bonds, and making better decisions for their future. The program meets people where they are in life, and challenges individuals to make proactive changes.

Our hope is to move towards “bridging this gap” in our community and we can’t do it alone.
