When does the race begin?

  • 7:30 am – Half Marathon Starts
  • 8:00 am – 5K & 10K Starts
  • 9:30 am – Paul Arndt Kids Fun Run
    • Adaptive Division (100 meters, no age limit): For those with intellectual or physical disabilities
    • Suggested age by distance:
      • 50 meters (ages 3-4)
      • 100 meters (ages 5-6)
      • 200 meters (ages 7-9)
      • 300 meters (ages 10-12)

What Does it Cost to Participate? 

January 1 through March 31

  • 5K – $40
  • 10K – $55
  • Half Marathon – $75
  • Virtual – $35
  • Paul Arndt Kids Fun Run – $5
  • Family of 4 (5K Only) – $150
    *Must register all members of the family in the same transaction for discount to apply.

April 1 through May 10

Where do I pick up my race packet?

Friday, May 9th | 12pm-6pm | Quincy Medical Group Building (235 N 12th Street, use northwest entrance)

Saturday, May 10th | 6:30am-7:45am | Clat Adams Park

Canned Food Drive Info

This year we are accepting canned food items and non-perishable items to support our local food pantries. Please bring food donations to packet pick-up on Friday, May 9 from Noon – 6:00 p.m.

What do the proceeds from Bridge the Gap to Health Support?

To mark the 25 year milestone of BTG, this year’s race will raise funds for a new industrial-grade truck for Horizons Social Services, a local soup kitchen and food pantry. Additionally, a portion of the funds raised will support the QMG Foundation’s ongoing initiatives to provide financial assistance to nonprofit organizations that directly impact our community, focusing on community development, health and youth initiatives.

The Paul Arndt Kids Fun Run proceeds will benefit the Dancer Love Foundation.

Inclement Weather Policy: 

The safety of our participants and volunteers is our highest priority. If severe weather is present, we will post an update on the Bridge the Gap to Health Facebook Page and at the top of our website www.bridgethegaptohealth.com by 6 a.m. the morning of the event.

Will you have on-course support?

Yes, we will have traffic control on the course and EMS will be available throughout the course, along with the medical team.

Are strollers allowed on the race route? 

Please begin behind the runners and stay to the left of the race route to allow other walkers and runners to go around you.

Can I bring my dog to the race? 

No, we love pets but cannot accommodate them at the event.  The only exception is for required service dogs.

Who receives awards? 

  • 5K – Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female overall finishers, as well as the top 3 male and females in the following age groups:
    10 & Under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
  • 10K – All 10K finishers will receive a finisher medal. Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female overall finishers, as well as the top 3 male and females masters finishers (age 40+).
  • Half Marathon – All half marathon finishers will receive a finisher medal. Awards will be given to the top 3 male and female overall finishers, as well as the top 3 male and females masters finishers (age 40+).

What do participants receive?

Each participant will receive a Bridge the Gap to Health shirt and race bib!

All 10K and Half Marathon finishers will receive a finisher medal (must register by March 21 to be guaranteed a medal)

5K participants may purchase a finisher medal during registration (must register by March 21)
